MISCELANEOUS MODEL AIRPLANE MAGAZINES FOR SALE

I have been cleaning out my basement and need to get rid of a bunch of old model aiplane

magazines that I no longer need. Although they are not in mint conditions they are all

readable and scanable and the pages are all there. I have listed them in groups and only

 want to sell them as groups shown below.

I don't have time to post them on E-bay so I am putting them here on a first come first served

basis. What I am starting out with is just a partial listing. These are the first groups I have

gone through. All the magazines were purchased by me either off the newstands or by

subscription.

 

 

Group # 2--

Scale Aircraft Modeler, 7 issues, Fall 1973 to Winter 1979. Good slick paper magazines.

Good reference material.

Group 9

Rare Antique Airplanes Magazine, issues Volume 1, Issues 1 and 2 date 1961 and Spring 1962.

Short lived magazine started in late 1961. I have not been able to find any info on this magazine on the internet.

Pictures mostly of Antique airplanes either restored or still flying originals.

Group 10

Armchair Aviator Magazine, short lived magazine of the early 1970's. Volume #1, issues #1, 2, and 3. Volume 2, issues 1, 2, 3, 4, 6.

Aviation History Pictures, and articles.

Price: $50 for the lot plus S&H

 

 

Group 11

Old Air Progress Magazines, 33 issues from 1954 to 1968. Issues are as follows: 1954-1955 Missing Cover, 1955-1956 Issue, 1958 Fall Issue, 1959 Spring and Fall issues, 1960 Winter and Fall issues, 1961-1962 Winter issue, 1961 Fall, Spring, Summer issues, 1962 Spring Issue, 1964 Jan, Jun/Jul, Aug/Sep, Oct/Nov issues, 1965 Feb/Mar, April, May/Jun, Jul, Aug/Sep, Oct issues, 1966 Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov issues, 1967 Apr, May, Aug, Nov issues, 1968 Jan, Mar, Oct issues.

Lots of aviation articles, pictures, some issues had drawings. Early issues were on cheap paper. Photo below just shows the 4 earliest issues I have. I think Air Progress was a quarterly, and eventually monthly magazine.

 

I also have lots of Finescale Modeler magazines from Issue # 1 up until around 1992? Can't

remember the exact time I decided to end my subscription. Let me know if you are interested

in these.
