The kit will build into any 1 of 3 versions, the P-47D razorback or bubble top and the P-47N. It can be readily converted to any of the latter types if the builder wants to. LASER CUT SHORT KIT. SK-41-LC THE MITSUBISHI J2M3 “RAIDEN” (THUNDERBOLT), OR “JACK”, WW2 JAPANESE LAND BASED NAVY FIGHTER The Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden, or Thunderbolt in English, code named “Jack” by the allies, was the first Japanese naval fighter specifically designed for the land-based interception role. Some examples of the Raiden fought briefly in the Philippines in September 1944. Most were retained for home defense. When flown by experienced pilots, the Jack was preferred over all other day fighters as a B-29 killer. Its armament was powerful enough to destroy a B-29 and as long as its primary opponent was unescorted B-29s, the Jack was superb for the job. Our model of the Jack is the J3M3 version of which 160 were built. It is in 1/24 scale, with a 17.71” wingspan. Short Kit List Price: $24.00
